Location

Personal Land Acknowledgment: Born on Tsėtsėhéstȧhese (Cheyenne), Hinono'eino (Arapahoe), and Núuchiu (Ute) territories, so called Boulder, CO.

Before I lived here, there were over 50 Tribal Nations who called, and continue today, to call this land home. There were less Doug firs and more beavers, more water. There were so many millions of bison that when their herds would approach, the sound of thunder was spread across miles.

Today, there are many settlers who live here and who pay high prices of ignorance and spiritual violence against the lands and it's caregivers. The bison in some places not too far from here are being returned to the land, to the prairies that had been missing and needing bison for generations. There are students of the land and people recovering our relationships to all that lives and dies.
